Tikin xic

Submitted by richard
Playa Lancheros
South End Bahia Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo, Mexico

An enormous fish is filleted, rubbed with achiote (a traditional Mayan spice) and grilled. Order tikin xic ("teek in cheek") and you'll get a cafeteria tray loaded down with amazing white fish a bit lighter than swordfish, a stack of tortillas & limes.
