Monaka consists of filling (traditionally red bean jam) sandwiched between two, thin crisp wafers (think ice cream cone). Now available in lots of varieties, including ice cream bars from 7/11, but the matcha ice cream and red bean here was a cut above and you get to fill your own monaka!
