Pecan pie filling...and cobbler...what's not to love! Cobbler is a classic BBQ-joint dessert (though good luck leaving space for it!), and Texas is one of the country's major pecan-producing states, so this one makes a lot of sense. Had just the right balance of brown sugary gloop to cakey cobbler dough with plenty of pecans.
