Egg creams are a traditional NYC drink, made simply of seltzer, milk & chocolate syrup (no eggs, no cream!). This is perhaps my favorite egg cream in the city, not only because it is delicious–wonderfully frothy, chocolatey & light–but also because of the setting: a no-frills, old-school lunch counter, where you can pair it w/a satisfying classic Reuben or tuna melt. Perfection.
