I preferred poffertjes, Dutch mini pancakes, over the regular Dutch-style pancakes served at Amsterdam's many pancake houses. They're soft, fluffy, and covered in powdered sugar and melted butter--what's not to love? Poffertjes are especially to-die-for when bought from a vendor making them fresh on the street.
