Churros, freshly-fried hot donuts that look like crinkly french fries and are eaten after dipping in thick drinking chocolate, are a traditional breakfast in Spain. In Madrid, we were lucky to stay walking distance from the best churros and chocolate place, San Gines, open 24 hours for customers from breakfast to a late night after-club crowd.
