One of the delightful things about Paris (and really France for that matter) is the diversity of desserts and bread available to sweet toothed carbovores such as myself. Fig pastries are very much a seasonal treat at Du Pain et Des Idees, so it's not regularly offered. I'm glad I was able to eat some - they were delish!
