Paye is a traditional main course dish from South Asia. The dish was first originated from Central Asia which was further adapted by Muslim cooks from the Mughal period. The soupy base is made up of thick, lip-smacking and sticky gravy that is highly nutritious. The final dish is most often served with sliced lemon, diced ginger and fresh coriander.
