Papri chat is a traditional dish of northern India, prepared from crispy fried dough wafers called papri in the colloquial language. The papri is mixed with boiled potatoes, yogurt, and tamarind sauce topped with chat masala and sev. The taste is a combination of crunchy, tangy, hot and sweet flavor which makes it a delicious afternoon snack.
