Carrot and Moong Dal Halwa

Even if you don't normally like Indian sweets, try halwa. Made from ground carrots and/or dal, milk, butter, cashews, sugar, cardamom and other treats, this warm dessert is my favorite. While sweet, the nuts and vegetables balance it out and give it more depth.
