Kelewele is about my favorite street food in Ghana. It is fried plantains mixed with ginger and salt and usually hot pepper. Sometimes groundnuts (peanuts) are also added. I always hunt down the kelewele lady in any town or village I visit. She usually sells alongside the road, always in the same spot.
