Bursame/Chukame

Submitted by samson

Hawasa, Ethiopia

Bursame (or chukame) is a traditional food in south Ethiopia, in the region of Hawasa city and surrounds. It is made of kocho tree and beef meat and eaten with yogurt. Sometimes it also has cabbage in it. I tasted it and enjoyed it a lot. It is not only tasty, it also very healthy!
